  Overview

COMMELL's R4AB-97D is the value industrial 4U 19" rackmount Intel® Core^TM  2 Duo / Core^TM  2 Quad level industrial server / workstation platform. Based on Intel® Core^TM  2 Duo / Core^TM  2 Quad architecture and PICMG industrial standard, R4AB-97D features the Intel's latest Core^TM  2 Duo / Core^TM  2 Quad CPU @ 800/1066/1333 MHz FSB and DDR II memory solution, integrated with Intel® Q35 built-in Intel GMA 3100 with 3-D enhancements enable greater flexibility and scalability, dual Giga LAN, HD audio and high speed USB 2.0,  6 x SATA with RAID interfaces and high expansibility of multiple PCI/ISA expansive slots with optional configuration.

Based on the built-in COMMELL FS-97D PICMG CPU card with Intel Q35 chipset, the R4AB-97D offers the value computing capacity with Intel Core^TM  2 Duo / Core^TM  2 Quad CPU @ 800/1066/1333 MHz FSB and  4 GB of DDR II 667/800 SDRAM.

Improved realism with support for Microsoft DirectX* 9.0c Shader Model 2.0, OpenGL* 1.4. High Speed USB 2.0 Interface

The R4AB-97D offers four Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports with up to 480 Mbps of data transfer bandwidth. Integrated Dual LAN Interface

The FS-97D SBC in COMMELL's R4AB-97D platform integrates with onboard Intel® Giga LAN interfaces. It makes COMMELL R4AB-97D be the ideal solution for Telecom, Power Station Portal and Platform for Test & Measurement Equipment application with the Intel®  Giga LAN, that provides the redundant, double speed or external / internal networking for the advanced networking application for CT server, networking server and industrial PC workstation platform. 

Multiple PCI/ISA Expansibility

The R4AB-97D offers 12-slot free PCI/ISA expansive bus interfaces with high reliable Intel PCI bridge and/or ISA 64mA high drive capacity. This feature makes COMMELL's R4AB-97D platform provide the high expansibility for multiple PCI-/ISA-based add-on cards installed for the industrial PC solution. The flexible expansibility includes 12 PCI slots, 12 ISA slots, 7 PCI and 5 ISA slots, 4 PCI and 8 ISA slots for customized option.

High Reliable System Configuration

The high reliability of R4AB-97D comes from the rugged construction and system integrated solution as below. The onboard SATAII interface support SSD for embedded OS, driver and AP; the advanced construction provides the anti-vibration/shock drive bay, dust-proof air filter for the critical environment; and the redundant power supply also enhance the life of the system.
