Procurement Policy(Conflict-free Metal Policy)

Taiwan
Commate Computer Inc. (COMMELL) ensure that our products
containing materials or metals in the components, ranging from Au,
Ta, W, Sn and Co, comply with the Policy of Conflict-free
Materials.
COMMELL
is taking and will take due diligence efforts to ensure our
suppliers having detailed surveys on origin of raw materials which
should not been sourced from Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC),
or illegally taxed on trade routes, either of which is controlled
by non-governmental military groups, or unlawful military faction.
Trade routes considered as the conflict area include DRC, Rwanda,
Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania and Kenya.
At
the moment we are taking continuous actions to ensure that
conflict
metals
do not enter our supply chain, actions including requiring
written
agreement from suppliers and request our suppliers to notify
their
supply chain to follow Minerals Conflict-Free requirements. In the
long
term, we plan to work on building up internal traceability system
in
procurement
processes. As a supplier, we take the responsibility to
ensure
customers’ right, comply with the guideline of Electronic
Industry
Code of Conduct (EICC).
